WHAT IS THE NINE OAKS HOUSING TRUST?

Established in 1969 as a sheltered housing complex we are situated in the heart of the Lake District in beautiful Windermere, only a stroll from the lake.

The Charitable Trust was formed in 2008 and provides accommodation for older people who want to remain independent, yet feel the need of some companionship.

We have two buildings, Nine Oaks and Thornton House, within a stone’s throw of each other and Windermere town centre.  Each resident has their own room or flat and is provided with two hot meals per day.

Support packages can be arranged by individual residents, if required, although we do encourage residents to live independently.

We have vacancies available NOW!  With meals and bills included in the rent, which starts at £200 per week, what are you waiting for?!

• PLEASE NOTE: We continue to ask visitors who have shown signs of cold/flu in the last 14 days NOT to visit Nine Oaks.  Our residents are vulnerable and therefore we hope you will support us with this decision.
